Overview

Journey to Heaven (JTH) is a nonprofit organization dedicated to improving the lives of the homeless population in South Florida. Their mission involves providing essential resources such as food, companionship, shelter, and counseling to those in need. In August of 2021, JTH approached our team to assist them in implementing a conference marketing strategy for their upcoming one-night event featuring renowned singer/songwriter Sinach. The primary goal was to sell over 1000 tickets to the event and raise awareness for their cause.

Project Summary

Challenge:

JTH faced the challenge of promoting their one-night event and selling a significant number of tickets within a limited timeframe. They required a comprehensive marketing strategy and compelling media assets to reach a wide audience and generate interest and participation in the event.

Objectives:

  1. Develop an Effective Conference Marketing Strategy: Design and implement a strategic marketing plan to promote the one-night event and sell over 1000 tickets, while also raising awareness about JTH’s mission and advocating for homelessness support.
  2. Create Engaging Media Assets: Produce visually captivating and informative media assets that would attract the target audience, effectively communicate the event details, and evoke emotional connections with JTH’s cause.
  3. Enhance In-House Experience: Support the event’s in-house experience through the creation of screen assets and professional photography to ensure a seamless and impactful event presentation.

Solution:

Our team collaborated with Journey to Heaven to develop and execute a comprehensive conference marketing strategy, leveraging our expertise in marketing and media production. The following steps were taken to achieve success:

  1. Strategy Development:

    • Conducted thorough market research and analyzed the target audience to identify effective channels and messaging that would resonate with them.
    • Developed a detailed marketing plan outlining specific tactics, timelines, and goals to achieve the desired ticket sales and awareness.
  2. Design and Production of Media Assets:

    • Designed visually captivating graphics, including promotional banners, social media posts, and email newsletters, to create a consistent and engaging brand presence across multiple platforms.
    • Produced informative and emotionally compelling videos that highlighted JTH’s mission, the event details, and testimonials from individuals impacted by their work.
    • Crafted persuasive written content that conveyed the urgency and significance of supporting the event and JTH’s cause.
  3. Implementation and Campaign Management:

    • Executed the marketing plan by strategically disseminating the media assets through various channels, including social media platforms, targeted email campaigns, and online event listing platforms.
    • Monitored the campaign performance, analyzed data, and made necessary adjustments to optimize reach and engagement.
    • Collaborated with JTH’s team to track ticket sales, provide real-time updates on progress, and implement strategies to increase ticket purchases.
  4. In-House Experience Support:

    • Created visually appealing screen assets to enhance the event’s atmosphere and provide impactful visuals that aligned with JTH’s branding.
    • Deployed a professional photography team to capture memorable moments, guest interactions, and the overall ambiance of the event.

Results:
Through our collaboration with Journey to Heaven, the conference marketing campaign achieved significant success, leading to the following outcomes:

  1. Extensive Campaign Reach:

    The marketing strategy and media assets reached over 250,000 people, effectively raising awareness about JTH’s mission and the event.

    The comprehensive reach resulted in a broader understanding of homelessness issues and increased public support for JTH’s cause.

  2. Ticket Sales Success:

  • The goal of selling over 1000 tickets was surpassed, resulting in a high attendance rate for the one-night event.

  • The strategic marketing efforts, compelling media assets, and targeted promotion contributed to the event’s success in generating ticket sales and participation.
